France's main telecoms and transport operators have finalised the first part of their work on defining a contactless public transport ticketing service using mobile phones.

Under the umbrella of the TES competitiveness cluster in Basse-Normandie (Pôle de Compétitivité « Transactions Electroniques Sécurisées »), and with the financial support of the Basse-Normandie Region, the Ulysse working group includes Bouygues Telecom, Orange, SFR, Keolis, RATP, SNCF, Transdev et Veolia Transport.
